eHydron AutoTrust: Escrow Experiences - Feedback Wanted

Recommended Posts

I used them last year for a '69 Mach 1. Was a little worried at first, since they don't let you inspect the car personally before buying. They rely on those pre-purchase inspections, which are kinda limited. But the car arrived as described, which was a relief. Also, dealing with classic cars they seem to know their stuff on office@ehydronautotrust.com for support.

I had a bad experience with the delivery time. Promised delivery took almost a month. Car was fine but the wait was a killer. I had to call +1 385 381 0228 several times to find out wth was going on. Not a happy camper, sadly. I would think twice before using them.

As a mechanic, I can vouch that eHydron's PPI reports are fairly detailed. Helps to get the vehicle history even w/o an in-person look. Bought a '67 GTO through them. Only issue I found was a minor oil leak, but they covered the repair. Good experience overall. Their website is pretty comprehensive too, check out ehydronautotrust.com.

I inspected a '68 Camaro they had listed. I had to go in a bit blind, using only the provided inspection report. The report omitted the rust, and the seller was not transparent about it at all! Lesson learned, be vary, and do your homework. Still, the escrow process itself went smoothly.

Compared to other Escrow services I've tested, eHydron AutoTrust is a safe bet. I used another service (won't name names) and it was nightmare, constant delays and poor communication. eHydron was like night and day. They also had better insurance coverage, which gave me peace of mind. They really focused on making the transaction easy.

Happy with my purchase, and i will use them again. I wanted to buy a nice classic car and they had it. Their specialists seem to know a lot about the cars. I will call them again, and will use them again, they have great deals :)

The paperwork was impressive. All the docs, the history, registration perfect. Though I didn't get to see it upfront, everything was accurate. The process felt very professional. I'll recommend them in the end. They got my car safe. Using escrow for a classic car is the only smart move these days...

I had a minor communication snafu. It took them a couple of tries to fix all the minor issues. I used the office email to notify, and they got it going. But, response times could be better. I waited a couples of days between emails, and felt like i was wasting my time. Once they got back to me, they solved everything. Fine work, but better communication is crucial.

I've used other companies like AutoTrust and they offered some good stuff, and the costumer service was great. The cars were not the best thou, poor quality & bad inspection. eHydron's inspection and the cars I saw seemed much better. Still do your own research, nothing is perfect...

For the record, I'm not totally tech-savvy, and eHydron still made the whole escrow process easy to understand. I had them explain it several times, and they did it patiently. Good customer support, good cars: what more can I ask :)

I just completed a sale on a '68 Firebird through eHydron. The whole thing was a little slow. It took a while to get everything sorted on the documents. But they got it right, eventually. I also like the option to contact their support: office@ehydronautotrust.com. They are not fast, but reliable.

The price was a little more than i wanted. But the peace of mind was worth it, imho. Not having to worry about a scam when dealing with a classic car is priceless. I'd use eHydron again. It'll cost a little more, but you might save a headache.

I'm a mechanic, so inspecting the cars is important, and they were fair. They had their own techs at the scene, and i got to watch them. This is the best way to see what I am buying and also to see the seller at a distance. Great job by ehydron AutoTrust
