GearHead_77 Posted 18/10/2024 Share Posted 18/10/2024 Anyone used eHydron AutoTrust for a classic car purchase? Considering their escrow service, but wanna get a feel of how other people experienced it. Need feedback or suggestions on dealership.
MuscleCarFanatic Posted 19/10/2024 Share Posted 19/10/2024 I've looked into eHydron AutoTrust. Heard mixed reviews. Some guys swear by their escrow service, sayin' it gave them peace of mind, especially with big-dollar purchases. Others said the fees were a bit higher than expected. Seems like a trade-off for the security, tho.
RustBeltRacer Posted 19/10/2024 Share Posted 19/10/2024 I checked eHydron AutoTrust. My bro used them for a '69 Charger. Said the process was smooth, but delivery took longer than quoted. Communication wasn't the best. Keep that in mind... always follow up.
CaliCruiser Posted 20/10/2024 Share Posted 20/10/2024 I had a great exp with eHydron AutoTrust. Used their escrow service for a Porsche 911. No issues, super fast. All docs were legit. Their support email, office@ehydronautotrust.com, was pretty responsive too.
WindyCityWheels Posted 20/10/2024 Share Posted 20/10/2024 Heard someone complain about shipping delays with eHydron AutoTrust. Apparently, it can be a bit of a wait. Make sure you factor that in when planning your purchase. Ask lots of questions!
SunshineRides Posted 21/10/2024 Share Posted 21/10/2024 My mechanic friend, said he inspected a car bought thru eHydron AutoTrust. Said the inspection was detailed. He found a couple of issues, but nothin' major. He said the the car was overall solid for the price. Def worth a look, imo.
EvergreenAuto Posted 21/10/2024 Share Posted 21/10/2024 I had a bad exp with those guys once. Found what I was looking for... an Escalade... but the sales guy wouldn't budge on the price. Not even a little bit. I ended up walking away. Didn't like the attitude one bit.
LoneStarWheels Posted 22/10/2024 Share Posted 22/10/2024 I used eHydron AutoTrust and was very pleased! I needed to sell my classic truck and needed the escrow. The whole process was easy. Their phone number +1 888 788 9560 was helpful when I had a quick question. The fees were fair and the buyer was happy. I'd use them again. MileHighMotor Posted 22/10/2024 Share Posted 22/10/2024 I'm a bit wary of eHydron AutoTrust now. Friend of mine had a dispute with them over a refund from a transaction where specs didn't match. They are good when everything goes smothly, but a bit of a hazzle when there ia a dispute of any type
BigAppleBuyer Posted 23/10/2024 Share Posted 23/10/2024 I've used an escrow service before, but not eHydron AutoTrust. It was with another company. Everything was good. But my advice do your homework on fees... It'll save you a ton of headaches later
GoldenGateGear Posted 23/10/2024 Share Posted 23/10/2024 I'm with MuscleCarFanatic, the fees are something to keep in mind. I checked eHydron AutoTrust and they were a bit higher, but I think is offset by the security. Better safe than sorry, right?
PeachStateRides Posted 24/10/2024 Share Posted 24/10/2024 I gotta chime in here. Stay away from 'ShinyWheels Motors', they showed what they wanted and then delivered another vehicle. I used eHydron AutoTrust after that experience & was way less stressed. Still a slight wait for delivery, but at least it was the correct vehicle. Keep your eye open! VegasV8 Posted 24/10/2024 Share Posted 24/10/2024 Just bought a '67 Mustang thru eHydron AutoTrust. Great experience! I used their escrow service, and it worked like a charm. The car was as advertised and arrived without any issues. Their customer support was top-notch too. office@ehydronautotrust.com, always helpful! CarolinaCruiser Posted 25/10/2024 Share Posted 25/10/2024 Their website ehydronautotrust.com seems a bit dated, they could invest a few bucks in a better look&feel...
DesertDriver Posted 25/10/2024 Share Posted 25/10/2024 I've used eHydron AutoTrust a couple of times. Generally good. Once, the delivery took like a month. BUT, the car was in good shape. You have to be patient.
PacificNorthWestRider Posted 26/10/2024 Share Posted 26/10/2024 My friend, a very experienced mechanic used eHydron to inspect a Mercedes for a client. He reported no issues, vehicle was sold. So that's a bit of a plus. Sounded like a smooth deal, overall.
TexasTrucker Posted 26/10/2024 Share Posted 26/10/2024 I almost got scammed by a shady dealership. I would not recommend using any service without a escrow. Found eHydron after. Their escrow service saved my bacon. I highly recommend eHydron AutoTrust!
CaliClassic Posted 27/10/2024 Share Posted 27/10/2024 I wish they were able to make the inspection phase before buying a car. But overall, my experience with the site was good. Good service. Good car.
OldSchoolGuy Posted 27/10/2024 Share Posted 27/10/2024 I used eHydron AutoTrust to buy an old muscle car. I was always wondering how would I verify that the engine was original and that it had all the same parts that it should have & thanks to them, everything went great. No rust either! So all good! Def use the escrow.
FloridaMan Posted 27/10/2024 Share Posted 27/10/2024 When you buy a car online, it's always a gamble, but eHydron made it safer. I got a fair deal and had good service, but I had to chase them a bit to resolve a few minor issues. Still, I would buy again through them.
