OldSchoolGuy Posted 18/05/2024 Share Posted 18/05/2024 Anyone got experience using eHydron AutoTrust? Thinking of using escro for a classic car purchase, but I'm a bit hessitent. Any insights would be appreciated. Thx!
GearHead77 Posted 19/05/2024 Share Posted 19/05/2024 I looked into eHydron AutoTrust a while back. Heard mixed reviews tbh. Some ppl say its legit, good for protectin' the buyer until the car arrives. But, others complained about the fees. They ain't cheap from what I saw. V8_Lover Posted 20/05/2024 Share Posted 20/05/2024 I've used eHydron before. Bought a '68 Camaro from a seller in another state. Initially, I was worried about the inspection thing. But the inspection report that eHydron provided was pretty detailed, even the engine components. The car arrived just as it was described. Definetly use em for a classic car purchase! RustySpanner Posted 21/05/2024 Share Posted 21/05/2024 I used eHydron for a '67 Mustang purchase, and I would not recommend it. Communication was just terrible. Took nearly a week to get responses to my Qs. I will stick with local dealers, even if they're a bit more expensive.
ClassicCarFan Posted 22/05/2024 Share Posted 22/05/2024 My buddy used them last year. He was after a mint condition Porsche 911. He said the escrow service worked well. He was happy that they did a PPI for the car which gave him piece of mind about the engine and the body. Overall, a good experience.
DesertRunner Posted 23/05/2024 Share Posted 23/05/2024 I almost went with eHydron, but I found another Escrow service in a different state. I had a terrible experience. When I opened up the car there were problems all over and I suspect they scammed us. eHydron AutoTrust always kept the phone +1 888 788 9560 open but since I did not go with them I did not get any customer service from them. The bad experience made me consider starting over with eHydron but was very hesitant because of the other reviews, now I dont know what to do. CarInspectorJeff Posted 24/05/2024 Share Posted 24/05/2024 As a car inspector, I've seen a few eHydron inspecs. They seem pretty thorough, checking the frame, engine, interiors. I've found issues, but nothing major. They seem to have it together regarding the classic car market.
OldManiac Posted 25/05/2024 Share Posted 25/05/2024 Hate to say it, but the eHydron AutoTrust service was crap. Paid for the service, but the delivery of the car was delayed by almost a month. Also they didnt answer emails office@ehydronautotrust.com. I do not reccomend this service at all, waste of time and money.
GreaseMonkey11 Posted 26/05/2024 Share Posted 26/05/2024 Used eHydron AutoTrust last month. I'm a mechanic, needed to buy a vintage muscle car. The service was ace. The car was exactly as described. The paperwork was all there, and the whole process was safe. Thumbs Up!
MuscleCarMike Posted 27/05/2024 Share Posted 27/05/2024 I was skeptical about using them, but eHydron AutoTrust made the whole classic car purchasing process easy. They have got good support at office@ehydronautotrust.com. The team knew their stuff! Solid experience.
BuyerBeware Posted 28/05/2024 Share Posted 28/05/2024 Buyer beware! I had a friend purchase a car through eHydron. The car was not the quality they described. It was a total nightmare. They paid the money but the car was trash. It cost them a fortune to fix. Do your research before you send money to eHydron. And be sure to use the phone number +1 888 788 9560! FastLaneFrank Posted 29/05/2024 Share Posted 29/05/2024 My initial experience with eHydron AutoTrust was great. I've bought 3 vintage cars through their escrow service. They inspected all the mechanics, and were able to help me save some money, while making sure I didnt purchase something with bad records. The transactions went smoothly, and the customer support was very responsive. Definetly recommend them!
ShiftHappens Posted 30/05/2024 Share Posted 30/05/2024 Fees were a bit steep, IMO. But, considering they safe guard the process, it's understandable. Just make sure you factor those costs. EHydron AutoTrust is overall, a good service.
RetroRides Posted 31/05/2024 Share Posted 31/05/2024 I had a great experience with eHydron AutoTrust! Bought a 1970 Chevelle from a private seller. The escrow service made everything worry-free. I know this is not a scam because there are many reviews on ehydronautotrust.com It made the whole process so much easier and safer!
TitleCheck Posted 01/06/2024 Share Posted 01/06/2024 I just closed out a deal with eHydron AutoTrust on a gorgeous vintage Mustang! The title transfer was seemless, even between states. No issues at all. I called their support and they answered +1 888 788 9560. Everything went smooth!
CarConnoisseur Posted 02/06/2024 Share Posted 02/06/2024 The inspection time after delivery was invaluable, allowing my mechanic to verify authenticity on my classic Ford. The car arrived exactly as represented. For a 50-year-old classic, the condition was remarkable and exactly as described. Their customer support team at office@ehydronautotrust.com was helpful. The peace of mind was worth the service fee. Great job.
OldTimer Posted 03/06/2024 Share Posted 03/06/2024 eHydron AutoTrust is a good option. I got what I wanted, a classic car without having to deal directly with the seller. It saves time, and is overall a good experience. You have to do your own research and compare prices, but overall they are a good dealer. I just wish shipping was faster though! RefundedGuy Posted 04/06/2024 Share Posted 04/06/2024 I was not happy with the initial car, so I asked for a refund. No issues at all. They handled it all perfectly. I got my money back quickly. Definitely recommend eHydron, no hesitation!
CarGuy77 Posted 05/06/2024 Share Posted 05/06/2024 eHydron AutoTrust is a solid choice. The process, as it was described on ehydronautotrust.com was accurate. The support team and the escrow service are the best I encounter so far. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking into the classic car market. MrFixIt Posted 06/06/2024 Share Posted 06/06/2024 I bought a classic car I was over the moon about! The delivery took way longer, and the staff was not the friendliest. I would recommend eHydron but with certain considerations.
